Week 24 What is your flower?

So this is the last week of the master keys. Bittersweet. I still have so much more potential to grow, but have come so far in doing so many new things, thoughts, better action meaning less procrastination!

So do you believe you have a unique purpose? The last webinar was great with Mark getting into how this master key choose was created. It came down to a 60 second clip in a movie. The guy explains how insects in doing what they do, see their flower and let nothing stand in its way to make love with it, and without it being aware, it pollinates the flowers and life keeps going for us all. What great purpose there is in the bugs and the flowers! Like Jesus says about the birds and flowers in Matthew 6, “Are you not of more value than they?” I can choose to not be anxious, but I can focus and feel the love from our creator, then I can find my purpose in finding my talent and giving it away in love.

So what is my flower? Well, today is Good Friday. We had a service and though I was late getting there with the little kiddos, I was determined to not miss it completely. What a great way to get focused in on the purpose of this weekend. Why the cross? Because no matter how hard I try, and I’m making progress, but I am not perfect, especially alone trying on my own without God. And I own that.  But again, why the cross? Because God loves me. He has saved me from myself and given me a gift that I could not ever work enough to earn. Because of love, I share this.

Week 25 Effortless

Imagine being able to complete the work needed to accomplish your dreams with a feeling of no effort. They have talked about this throughout the course but they really got into more detail about it on the last webinar. There are three parts to the law of least effort. They are acceptance, responsibility, and defenselessness. This is about accepting things as they are, that everything is as it should be. Then in taking responsibility, there is no blaming anyone including myself for the way things are. This allows me to focus and make the best of every situation and turn it around for my good. Last, the law of defensiveness states to let go of defending my point of view, allowing me to be open minded. I’m looking forward to reading them over and over to see this come to be. Already I’m not procrastinating as much as I use to and that is a big deal to me. So much more to come!

week 24 Emotions

The reading from Og has been great thinking about how the cycle of emotions changes day by day but how to take control if you are too high or too low, by focusing on the direction you need to take them. My favorite quote is “Weak is he who permits his thoughts to control his actions; strong is he who forced his actions to control his thoughts.” Many a times in the past I haven’t felt like doing something but start it any way and then I soon begin enjoying it. With my toddler I can become annoyed at her with the repetitive disobedience and I can’t move on and enjoy her, so I start smiling really big or make silly faces at her and we both laugh and I move past my stubborn grumpy emotions. Reading this writing helps me focus on doing that sooner. Then the last live webcast was very interesting talking about different emotions like anger, fear, and unworthiness and focusing on the benefit of those emotions. For example, anger gives massive energy, fear gives focus, and unworthiness shows when you may not be following your dreams. The mind is so powerful. What a blessing to have this opportunity to understand it and use it better for my good and for those around me.

Week 23 Going to finish it out

So, this course has helped me in many ways with taking more control of my thoughts, which has helped with my business since I’m motivated to make my calls. Then things got a little out of balance with me giving time to the calls and neglecting the work for the master keys. Additionally, I was looking at the Go90grow and getting excited about that and signed up to learn the skills that I know I need to have more success and less frustration with my business. I didn’t think I could manage both at the same time so I wanted to start fresh with the Go90grow and start over with the master keys next time around. I had to check with my guide to see what insight she had before making my mind up for sure and she was so encouraging for me to focus on how far I have come and to finish strong with master keys. Go90grow is a membership for life and the trainings for the skills are always available and the live Q & A will come back around 2-3 times a year. I’ll only miss out for a month and it lasts 3 months. I’m already doing the activities better this week. Amazing how talking with another and masterminding can help make changes.

Week 22 Catching up again

I wanted to blog about a great experience of sharing love. A few blogs back I shared about a random valentine I had found in my bag and it encouraged me to make valentines with my girls and hand them out at the local nursing home. I cut out hearts, trapped on the scripture print outs and the girls decorated with markers and stickers. It was such a sweet time watching the girls give them out. My 4 year old couldn’t get enough of it coming back to me for the next card ready to hand it to the next person. And my 1 year old was so cute waving and saying hey to everyone with her precious smile. They certainly made many people smile. We have been so blessed and what a blessing it is to give it on to others.

The challenge, to set aside the time to think of something to do and make the plan to do it.

Week 20/21 What is your pose?

Very late getting this out but I’m still getting it done. We didn’t have a webinar for week 19 but they posted an interesting video about a study that was done showing what affects your body position can have on you. They took 2 groups of people, one holding a pose for 2 min making themselves smaller, hunched over, etc. The other group held their arms all the way up, reclined with their feet up, etc, showing power. Then these people went in for a job interview. All those who did the power poses were wanted for the job while those that did the poses to make themselves smaller were not wanted for the job. So I tried it when I was getting a little overwhelmed while at home with a lot to accomplish. It helped me calm down and boost my confidence that I could get everything done. What the study showed was the power poses increased the person’s testosterone and deceased cortisol, the stress hormone. Amazing how God has made our bodies! Then when we were on our group call, I recalled a couple pictures my husband had taken on our date night just before I listened to the webinar. No words needed to tell who was victorious with each game.

So I have a little catching up to do with the mkmma work, but others are noticing my increased confidence and drive to work. I’m eager to make my calls and getting to it right away each day. I had our first salad in a jar party Sunday and it was great and I’m excited to keep them going weekly and growing community encouragement for better health. 🙂

Week 19 The Ball is Rolling

Yay! I’m so exited! The work is paying off. I have been making more good habits with my business and I feel like there are good connections just falling in my lap. An old distributor, who can really sell when she sets her mind to it, connected me with a friend who wanted a smoothie protein for making smoothies to sell at the golf club she works at for after Pilates and tennis. So I went for the trial run to give samples and it was a big hit with the ladies there that day! Two ladies were already customers so they were raving fans which really encouraged the others to want to be customers. The lady working for the club was very pleased and signed up as a distributor and already found someone else to sell. Then the Pilates instructor wants me to set up a display at her studio of the products and do a health presentation for her clients. We have an appointment for next week to talk more. This is motivating of course for my old distributor to get back in the game. I pray this is only the beginning of even greater things, to really get the word out to get more plant food in more people and improve health!

I’m still thinking about giving myself permission to be happy and use the power in me. I’m also still noticing kindness. Someone, I guess the baby sitter or a lady from my mom’s group, left a Valentine in my diaper bag. It made me feel special and want to do that for others. I’m thinking about taking the girls to the nursing home I have worked at some to pass valentines out. My girls being so little and cute are good at making people smile. More work on me to do still but how much fun it is seeing some progression. I have great potential and there is no limit to what we can accomplish with the right mindset!
